for wednesday...

First of all
CONGRATULATIONS TO EVERYONE
for the work and enthusiasm you put on this project!
The devices were really exciting, some of them also a great success!

According to the comments and suggestions made during the review:
- improve your devices in order to create new and better maps
- document the entire design process (sketches, earlier attempts for the machine, construction details, etc.)
- document the map making process through diagrams, photography and video  (or anything you might think of, according to what suits your device best)
- complete your design and/or represent the ideal machine you would make if you had extra time and means
- anything i forgot??

Post all this updated work on the blog.

For tools and skills, a reminder from Aj Pat's email:

Cardboard (Chan-oy ชานอ้อย), 1 sheet will probably be enough for monday's class
Latex glue
Exacto knive/Cutter
Metal-edge ruler
Cutting mat (Very important that each and everyone of you have one!)
Triangles (30/60 and 45/45)
Pencil hard-lead (4H or 6H)
T-Square or Parallel bar
Masking tape
Cleaning solution and cloths

all the items on this list are things you will need throughout design school, so please invest in good quality supplies.  don't expect thong-ieng (ตงเอียง) to have all these available on wednesday morning, so get them early.  you are all expected to have everything on this list for wednesday's class--no exceptions.  there will be exercises due at the end of the morning session.

See you on Wednesday - have a great evening of well-deserved rest!
