As what i had read, from my understanding i think we people cant run away from the time. Eventhough we have the magic flower that can go backward, but still time will flower us. i had so many question, like why dont they just pick up all the flower and run?
In the diagram, at the center is where axel and his wife placed and the army (time) is the arrow around the circle. The bigger leaf give a longer time and the reason why the arrow is pointing is to represent how the army move backward. The longer leaf the bigger step it is.

The global organizations (forms) you found are ok to work with - each parameter of these shapes should be driven by data, facts, readings, interpretation .... In relation to the themes that interest you for each story.

so that most parameters of the shapes (such as segment lengths, diameters, colours, width of lines, percentage of void in the page, etc.) are given by a translation from the data of the texts
(it is the same way of thinking as when you translated your journey times and distances into a colour code... but it can be simpler and easier to read in this case)
