helloo.. i do have something to ask. I went around and asked my friends but I'm still not clear and really don't understand about what to do for the submission on Monday.
I know I slept in the morning class, I'm sorry. But i would appreciate a lot if you could explain to us again about what to submit on Monday and what and how to do.
and.. you told me about " do it in the computer" , my diagrams. so, I have questions, ermm... are we going to proceed on to the next project which is the "nine matrices" on this coming Monday?
for why do I need to do my diagram in the computer again?

It would be impossible for me now to explain in words what Aj Lara showed in Illustrator for 3 hours. In essence :
You have to make a map of your journey from home to school or school to home.
But this time you have to record qualities on your way (such as light, sounds, smells, pollution, beautiful girls, etc.) - more examples were given during lecture and on the brief.
From this new collection of data you will draw the path you are taking as your route (see the example on the brief of the module/path relationship).
Then you will modify it according to this new relation. And from this modification you will distort your original google map.
I showed examples of distorted maps during the lecture (i will send the link soon).
We all know that it is a complex exercise but you have to fight for it and play around with illustrator until you achieve a perceptual map of quality.

ReplyDeletei asked you to use the computer in order to improve your diagram - or push it further according to the comments we made
the reasons are that
- you will learn how to use the computer by practicing only and it seems you already have been postponing this moment
- the works you are making will take another dimension when you will make them using these softwares - for now illustrator is ok, or even in your case a 3d modelling software if you have one - you will gain efficiency and possibilities
So trust me on this and try it out for Monday - play and push your ideas - in your case i do not need to see a very clean or completed presentation, but i will not understand if you do not try.
