Materials

Since we're going to try molding the container, I was running out of ideas on what to use as the casting material. Perhaps you have any suggesting?

I tried finding liquid rubber like Kanoon but all the shops I've been to is out of stock.
I'm trying to find somewhere to buy liquid silicone rubber but so success so far.

Perhaps we should find a new way of fabrication? Since the doll's method was rotational molding, it actually requires machine and an oven; both of which I do not have access to. I'm a little stumped here and would love to hear any suggestions from you. Thank you!

  1. Ally, I don't think that my liquid rubber will work in your case.. The dried rubber is too sticky with itself, so it is impossible to pull it out of the mold by not letting them touch each other.

  2. Yes i agree you will have to find your own way of mold-making, and i advise to take advantage of what you learned in TS...

But how to make a hollow mold? by other ways than rotation...? by creating 2 layers maybe or placing a smaller doll inside, just after pouring the liquid material?

Have you started growing plants inside the doll?
Could they adopt and keep the shape of the doll?

Could you please recapitulate how you will develop this project, and how it makes sense with monstrosity and nightmares?

  3. I'm thinking of using plaster to make the container. It would not have the same flexibility as rubber but I'm running out of ideas.

  4. Plaster or glycerin or paraffin would work
